Why agricultural research hasn't directly benefited farmers
Despite real advances, many farmers still lack access to the innovations meant to help them. A few reasons stand out:
- Research is often conducted in controlled settings, not real farm conditions.
- Findings are published in academic journals, not accessible formats.
- Solutions can be too costly or impractical for small farms.
